How to Make a Youtube Intro

How to Make a Youtube Intro

Download Filmora Now! http://bit.ly/2gYlQ5n An intro is a short clip you put at or near the beginning of your video to introduce yourself and the theme of your vlog. It’s your chance to make a great first impression! Part of that is keeping your intro short and sweet. You don’t want people to get bored waiting for your video to start. I think five seconds is a perfect intro length. If you don’t have an intro yet then there are a few sites where you can get them. Or, you can make your own! I’ll show you how to make your own unique intro video in Filmora. If you haven’t yet, you can download the latest version of Filmora Video Editor at http://bit.ly/2gYlQ5n. Alright, let’s open up Filmora and drag a clip into the timeline. If you don’t have a clip yet then try a colored background. This clip I’ve chosen is a bit too long so I’m going to trim it down to five seconds. Now let’s take a look in the music library. You might want to listen to a few different tracks, but I already know that I like this song. Let’s drag our songs into the timeline and trim them to match our clips. I don’t need my clip’s audio anymore so I can just delete it. Lastly, let’s head over to the Titles/Credit menu and choose an animated title. You can edit your title however you want, but for now I’m just going to type in my name. There, that looks pretty cool for a demo. Imagine how awesome these can get when you take your time. Or, maybe you don’t have time to make an intro at all. If you’d rather get a premade intro then there are a lot of great sites for that. The most popular one is FlixPress.com. Let’s go check it out. FlixPress has a lot of cool animated titles for you to customize. Go to Automated Templates to browse through them. If you see one you like then click the red Register button to create a free account. A couple other intro sites are IntroMaker.net and IntroChamp.com. They have great selections of intros videos you can buy, usually for under $10.
